I'm Kaleigh Boysen-Quinata. Let's get the credentials out of the way - I'm a License Marriage and Family Therapist, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and group practice owner located in the Portland, OR area.
What makes me unique from other therapists? As a LMFT, I view therapy and supervision from a systemic lens. That means I believe that people need to be viewed in the context of the systems that they are a part of - their families, communities, and identities.
I'm here to help therapists, business owners, and other professionals expand their knowledge and their impact. How can I help?
My Story
I started my group practice, Family Roots Therapy, in 2019 after having a solo private practice for two years. Having worked in community mental health and the school system, I saw how few opportunities there were for therapists to receive good training and experience. I knew there had to be a better way. I started my practice with the idea that new and experienced therapists could have a place to grow and learn and receive quality supervision. I want to extend that to the greater therapist and small business community as well. You deserve to have someone in your corner! I love helping business owners learn to grow and manage their business. I enjoy providing training on therapy with children, parents, and teens to other clinicians. I love providing supervision and supervision of supervision so that other therapists can provide high quality support in this profession as well.
